About Brian Fitzpatrick
My current role is the owner at BF Sports Analysis which I have been doing since 2017. BF Sports Analysis is a rugby research and development company specialising in tactical efficiency and expansion in rugby. Previous to that I worked in professional rugby with Sporting Union Agen in the ProD2 in France, London Irish in the Premiership, the Poland International Rugby Team and the Dublin Senior Hurling team among others. One of the things I am most proud of speaking out against is unpaid internships in sports and delivering on that in my own business by not using unpaid internships and creating paid employment in the sports industry.
Brian’s Teaching Philosophy
I approach lecturing the same way I approach my business and my sports analysis work. With diligence, organisation and a curiosity for exploring the unknown. I hope to enable students to grow on their courses and discover the pleasures of improving a team or individual’s performance. The sports industry seeks reliable, passionate and skilled individuals. We’ll be focusing on developing those attributes in our courses.

- Masters of Business Administration, Merit, Heriot-Watt University
