Business of Fashion
Position: Fashion lecturer
I am a commercially astute senior buyer with over 15 years’ experience working in Irelands largest retailers. My role involved managing own brand in buying and sales, category management, supply chain, commercial operations and global sourcing. I am passionate about new product/retail concept development and ultimately profit optimisation through a focused trend, sourcing and negotiation process.
Whilst working in Ireland frequent travel to the UK, Germany, Belgium, US and Far East has given me an international mindset, adaptability and an ability to navigate different business cultures. My track record of success also includes teaching, strategy, identifying new products lines, growth, sourcing and launching new products to the Irish market.
I have a passion for sustainability driven by a sense of responsibility for future generations and our planet and am a member of the Sustainable Procurement Pledge.
