Welcome to our Special Needs Education department. Portobello Institute has a long history of training and developing those working and supporting children and adults within our community and schools with special needs.
The area of Special Needs education is receiving substantial funding and investment in recent years and is certainly a very rewarding and fulfilling role for those interested in caring for and supporting the most vulnerable in our society
There are a variety of courses available to study in this department from short awareness raising distance learning courses to a full QQI level 6 major award with focus on Special Needs.
