Portobello Institute is the Early Years sector’s educator of choice as our foundations lie in early years education since 1981.

Our early childhood care and education graduates understand that they are sculpting young minds and the future of society. Our graduates significantly impact the early years sector by working within county childcare committees, Pobal, DCEDIY, teaching on early years programmes and in many other roles. Successfully opening and running early years settings and Montessori schools have been the career choices of many of our graduates.

Portobello Institute is participating in the Nurturing Skills Learner Fund Scheme 2024 (NSLF). You can find out the latest information on the NSLF and register your interest here.

The new fund helps early years educators to upskill to level 7 and level 8 qualifications by covering a significant part of the cost.
